I know that this probably does not go on this forum, but I am trying to get the information out to as many people as possible.

The First United Methodist Church in Eastland is offering Joyful Hearts Music Camp June 28 - July 2 from 9:00 - 12:30 for ages 3 through those entering 6th grade. There will be a special afternoon Jam session from 12:30 - 2:00 for children entering 4th - 6th grade. Lunch will be provided to all kids. This program is free of charge to all who want to attend. Some of the activities will include, drama, puppets, singing, percussion, arts & crafts and other activities. We ask that you pre-register so that we know how many to prepare for however if at the last minute you decide to come you will be welcome. If you have any questions or would like to pre-register please contact the church office at 629-1022.

Thanks Big! This really is a great opportunity for the kids in the area. It is not just for Eastland kids either. Eastland, Carbon, Gorman, Ranger, or Cisco, it does not matter, all are invited.

If we were closer, I'd love to take my kids! I know they'd love it!

I hope you all have a very successful turnout.

It is not too late to bring your child to Joyful Hearts Music Camp. Day 1 was an astounding success. The kids had a great time. We start at nine in the morning. We would love to see your kids there.

Attention all Posters...due to the way things get posted around here..this will automatically be taken down the list after a few post...so for the kids sake after you have done finished posting take the time to bump this thread back to the top or at least in the top three!

Thanks Big. We really want to reach as many kids as we can. They get to learn some singing, some drama, some handbells or hand chimes, some percussion rythym stuff. We have a lot of neat things planned. The older group (4th - 6th) can stay in the afternoon and participate in a JAM session. There they work on guitar, art and something called STOMP. We had kids everywhere today. It was wonderful. Once again - We hope to see more tomorrow.
