    Mmmmmmm, chow time!

There are some really good recipes out there and also that have been posted on the spin. Sooooooo, what`s for dinner/supper today?

Mine is the usual old pot roast with potatoes and carrots and onions. Also going to have green bean casserole and haven`t decided what else for sure. Oh yeah, fresh black eyed peas. Wish I had some cucumbers and some fresh green onions.

I just gave up on pot roast...it is so expensive, and just too much red meat for me.... I am now making my own sushi...it is cheap, healthy and so tasty...I like to get a quart of soup at the China Cafe on the way home...(2.50 for a quart) and take it home to have with my sushi!!! I am enjoying this lighter eating very much...

Apparently your fond of soul food cg. We're doing the pork roast in the slow cooker and veggies and gravy. JoHo let me know how the Sushi turns out. I'd like to try. Can you get the ingredients here?

I have to get the nori and wasabi in Abilene, but Walmart carries a really decent sticky rice and the rice vinegar...I am out of the Nori and wasabi right now, and have to make a run to Abeline, or con my brother and sister in law into it...Maybe pick up some fish while I am there...I have been using wax paper to roll it, but really want a proper bamboo mat...along with chop sticks to eat it...it is super tasty!!!!

Got no time to hold the dog for you. I am going to hunt down Wellspring and go eat with her/him. Besides that, my dog might not bite you real hard. You could always try throwing him a treat and see if he would eat that instead of you.
